We got to chat with the founder and designer, Natasha Milkovich, behind all-girl brand, miss L. Ray and learn a bit more about the brands mission, inspiration and a perfect day at home with Natasha and twin her daughters. Using her long international experience in the fashion industry, she decided to design and produce her own clothing to give her girls the unique look they were after.

pP: The inspiration behind your brand is dressing girls between childhood and teenage years. What's your ideal date night with your daughters?

MLR: It's very simple. A big bowl of popcorn and a movie in mummy's "big bed"!

pP: What's the best thing you're seeing in the generation of your girls?

MLR: They are part of a generation that is very well informed and connected. They are far more pragmatic and practical. They live in an increasingly multi-cultural society which makes them much more accepting of different cultures and customs. I think this generation will build bridges and tear down walls!

pP: We love that. Can you tell us your inspiration for each new collection?

MLR: Almost every collection is inspired by my idea of the contemporary girl; a new gen-girl that is strong and thoughtful, arty and sensitive to her surroundings. A girl that has enough confidence to wear a "cool pink" top and frills in her own way. A girl that is listening to a Queen album on her iPod while knitting her winter hat. A girl that is feminine and strong at the same time - and dances to her own beat!

pP: We are definitely pro-konfident-kids! With all that said and done - What's your ideal Sunday?

MLR: Honestly, just curling up on the sofa with a good book. That's pure bliss; but, with kids and work...that never happens!
