Ben Baller, a.k.a., the industry's jewel man, works with the flyest of the fly. His family - his world. His career - nonstop. His friend - A$AP Rocky and together they are - Superism.

pP: Hi Ben! The buzz is out on Superism! Congrats on an awesome kid's brand, can you tell us a bit more on how you joined the team and developed the brand?

BB: We originally started this brand to be a men's brand with the sub-focus of doing a kids line to mimic the mens line later, but eventually my passion was much deeper into kidswear with being a dad and always wanting my kids to look fresh! I met Michael of Publish and we began to build. We went to the drawing board and the design and production part of it was the easy part, finding an identity was harder. That's when I brought in A$AP ROCKY to help me and he became so interested that he became a majority owner in the brand. His fashion sense is by far the best in the business and with us together we realized we can take over kids wear - for real.

pP: Such a great collab - So, Superkids are all over the planet; what's the universal message of Superism everyone should know?

BB: We want kids to be dressed fresher than most adults out there and the quality matches any luxury brand; but at a better price point.

pP: What inspired the brand?

BB: My first born son London Yang

pP: What are your favorite pieces from the FW17 collection?

BB: The suede bomber jacket, the drop crotch harem pants; but, all the materials we used for the tops are everything to me, so soft and so well made.

pP: So you mentioned, A$AP Rocky joining Superism - how exactly did that happen?

BB: Rocky is a good friend and client of mine. He owns a company called AWGE, which is a marketing house, record label, umbrella to several amazing menswear brands and when he saw what I was doing, he asked me if I needed help. After that, he was so intrigued by what we had going on that he wanted more involvement with the brand. He's the real creative director and he wants to now start filming commercials and things. He was the missing link we needed.

pP: What's something you think every kid needs to know?

BB: One. They need to know how to have fun! Two. They need to know how to dress early. Three. They must learn how to think, not what to think.

pP: Lastly -- now that kids are back in school, what's something every kid should enter the school year rocking?

BB: Everything from the first collection of Superism :)
