Kid Made Modern Has Holiday Gifting, SOLVED!
There comes a day when every parent dreams about not stepping on one of their kids plastic toys as soon as they get out of bed. A day - where unnecessary packaging doesn't flood their dining room table and it looks like a daycare's toy chest imploded in their living room.
Step in, Kid Made Modern! The arts & crafts and now, kids-fashion company, started with a book. The DIY KMM kids book, written by Todd Oldham that teaches you to "Go Make Stuff!". Like easily transforming a comfy T-Shirt with some paint, yarn and a recycled water bottle or reuse those holiday lights, turning them into a year round whimsy accessory for your mini's bedroom, or the brilliant idea of painting your dogs bed (with non-toxic paint, of course) so that it finally works within your mid-century modern living room.
"When you repurpose that a year later, sometimes it turns into something even more fabulous" said Tony Longoria during our chit chat on reuse/reduce/recycle.
After the book, Kid Made Modern came up with the sustainable, creative and visually attractive arts & crafts roster of kits, crayons, supplies and apparel. Every ounce of packaging is recyclable and the briefcases that house the kits, are all so cool, you may actually ask your child to leave them out instead of putting them away.
In addition to rock crayons, sun catchers, DIY ukulele's, duct tape kits, DIY bongos and much more, KMM has also released their first apparel line sold at luxury Dallas retailer, Forty Five Ten.
The KMM apparel line is completely tied in and inspired by the crafts line, as you'll note below; with hints of KMM characters on the inner lining and throughout the prints.
So as we're all on the hunt for great holiday gifts, take a look at what we think will make the perfect stocking stuffer or holiday gift for any kid on your radar. Added Bonus: Todd Oldham & Amy Sedaris will be wrapping KMM gifts at Fishs Eddy in NYC on Thursday at 6pm!
