Chit Chat with Vingino Before SS18 Fashion Show at petitePARADE

We got to catch up with Camiel Slaats, CEO of Vingino before the SS18 runway show at petitePARADE at Children's Club next week in New York City. The brand, known for its awesome denim and Italian-style attitude, has recently been creating a great buzz as they enter new markets, some of those being a booming presence in the U.S. and Asia. pP: Hi Camiel! Can you tell us a bit about Vingino's brand DNA? 

V: Our DNA is denim driven, Italian styled, colorful, high quality and always an eye for details!

pP: We love the denim and casual style of Vingino - how do you describe the style of your customer?

V: It is simple - the Vingino kids are playful and want to look cool and confident!

pP:  What inspires each new collection? 

V: Our designers make numerous inspiration and fabric trips across the globe, but most and for all they are inspired by Italian style.

pP: With the growth of social media, has your international market grown? 

V: Absolutely, from being a Dutch centric brand 5 years ago by now Vingino is sold across Europe, USA, Middle East and we even get requests from Asia now, which is a fantastic new market for us!

pP: Once things settle down in August, do you take a holiday? Where is your favorite place to visit? 

V: Yes, we do, and guess what, our favorite places are in Italy: Riccione, Puglia, Capri, Rome and Firenze!
